How these hours are counted, and whose clock they are on

The check

Once an hour, every hour, an automated check reads the public listing of who is broadcasting at that moment and writes down, for each model here, whether she appeared in it. Both answers are kept: a model absent from the listing is written down as not online for that hour rather than left blank. Everything is stored in UTC, and your browser converts every hour of the day shown on these pages into your own local time, so the times you read are yours and not ours. We hold thirty days and delete what falls behind that, which is why these figures describe a moving month rather than a history. When a model has not been seen online for more than thirty days, her figures show the thirty days leading up to her most recent online result, and the dates of that window are stated with them. A day is counted only once all twenty-four of its checks have completed. A day with a gap in it is dropped rather than counted as quiet, because a day we only half-watched cannot carry an honest denominator.

What an hour can hide

An hour is a wide gap. A broadcast that opens and closes between two checks is never recorded, and nothing here estimates around it. An hour marked online means a check found her listed at the one moment it ran, not that she was on air for sixty minutes. Absence of a result is absence of evidence, not evidence of absence: not online means the check did not find her, not that she was away. What these pages carry is a record of what was checked. It is not a full log of her time online, and it is not a schedule. Nothing else is recorded — no personal information, no viewer data, nothing from a private session, nothing that is not publicly shown.
